You might be at a comfortable weight, but you have stubborn fat in specific parts of your body that don't respond to your rigid diet and exercise. Maybe, it is time to consider VASER liposuction. In this article, we will help you find good answers to most of the questions in your mind.

What is the VASER liposuction technique?

  • Most probably, you are familiar with liposuction as a method to remove excess fat from the body, but you don't have a clear idea about the exact goal of this procedure. No matter what type of liposuction you perform, it is important to know that liposuction is not a weight-loss method. If you suffer from obesity, you are not in the right place. Liposuction is done for people with a stable weight who want to get rid of unwanted fat in certain areas of their bodies.

  • VASER liposuction is a modern type of liposuction used commonly in our days. VASER is a brief of Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance. It is based on ultrasound waves to break apart the bonds between fat cells and liquidate them.

How does the VASER liposuction technique work?

VASER technique is a minimally invasive procedure that targets a specific part of the body, including the abdomen, thighs, hips, and buttocks. Using a VASER technique, liposuction goes through two basic steps:

  1. Emulsification process

In the first step, the target area of the body is filled with a saline solution which helps remove the fat cells easily. This solution can contract the blood vessels reducing blood loss. It also provides anesthesia which numbs the area during and after the procedure.

  1. Ultrasound process

An ultrasound transducer is a device used to produce and flow ultrasound waves under the skin through tiny incisions around the target area. As a result, the bonds that connect fat cells will be broken. The same device then can act as a vacuum which will suction the dissolving fat out of the body.

What is the VASER liposuction technique?

What makes the VASER technique different?

Let's know why the VASER technique surpasses other traditional techniques:

  1. A minimally invasive procedure

VASER needs only tiny incisions around the target area, so it ensures less blood loss.

  1. Powerful technique

It can sculpt the entire body or a specific part precisely.

  1. Safe liposuction procedure

It keeps the surrounding tissues intact and unharmed.

  1.  Immediate results

It takes mostly a week to see your final results.

  1. Less recovery period

A short recovery can be ensured after the procedure.

Who is the ideal candidate for VASER liposuction?

Although VASER Lipo is a minimally invasive procedure, it comes with some possible risks, especially for those who are not qualified enough for it. The candidate for VASER liposuction should be in good health along with:

  • The candidate should be within 30% of his ideal weight.

  • The candidate must have firm and elastic skin.

  • The qualified person should also be a non-smoker.

  • A person who suffers from serious health issues, such as heart disease, diabetes, or a weak immune system, is not the right candidate for VASER lipo.

Is VASER liposuction technique safe?

VASER liposuction is considered a safe procedure for the following reasons:

  • Thanks to the mechanism of the VASER technique, it causes no damage to the surrounding tissues.

  • Since the VASER technique does not require big surgical intervention, the patient can experience less pain than other techniques.

  • The patient can experience fewer side effects than any plastic surgery.

  • Thanks to the ultrasound transducer device and saline solution inserted into the target area of treatment, less blood loss will result.

VASER Lipo vs Laser Lipo

In general, the VASER technique is more effective than the Laser technique for the following reasons:

  1. With the VASER technique, a larger amount of fat can be removed.

  2. VASER can tighten the skin more effectively because of the ultrasound transducer's even distribution of sound waves on the target area. As a result, the outcomes will be smoother.

  3. While the VASER technique can target almost all parts of the body, the laser technique is limited to certain parts of the body.

  4. With VASER, Liposuction requires shorter recovery than laser.
